We always use real butter in this house, even on bread, in warm muffins as well thanks to my Kentucky friend Shannon who showed me they are even nicer with a knob of butter in them. Not good for the waistline but sacrifices will have to be made elsewhere instead. Will work on the shepherds pie with a twist recipe this week end and get it to you. Will see what else I have thats nice.

Believe it or believe it not we have only really had sweet potatoes in the last 2 years and at least half of my friends haven't ever had a meal with them in it or tasted them at all. Funny isnt it what would be so normal to you is all a big new thing to us. I do have a good shepherds pie receipe with a twist using sweet potato. Of course because its a novelty here its a big wahoo but it was a lovely warmy dish in the fall and winter. I wonder what recipes I could send you.
